Rohingya Need Humanitarian Action

The Myanmar government supported by the people have organized and are currently carrying our killing and mass restriction against Rohingya Muslims since 09 October, 2016 in Arakan State. More than 500 Rohingya have been killed or burned to death, thousands have been arrested, hundreds of women and girls raped in front of their parents. Many thousands of Muslim homes have been torched along with dozens of mosques, madrasahs have been destroyed, properties looted, and the military went to the main mosque of the area where the imam stands to lead the prayers and started kicking everything. The military also got hold of the holy Quran and kicked it.
Meanwhile those who are arrested by security forces have been killed, and schools are being closed and destroyed. Ultimately, the Myanmar government are blocking aid to displaced Rohingya and are also banning journalists.
Additionally, the Myanmar Army also armed the local Rakhine people in Sittwe and sent them to Maung Daw to loot the village and killing Rohingya in Arakan state. Under extreme conditions, more than 40,000 people have been forced to flee their homes and have crossed the border to save their lives. According to the United Nations, when the displaced Rohingya cross the border, the Bangladesh police and border guards are detaining hundreds of those fleeing the violence. The Bangladesh government is largely ignoring the U.N. calls to accept the feeling refuges.
This is the final stage for Rohingya. Let us show the world that Myanmar government are engaging in the ethnic cleansing of the Rohingya. Rohingya are considered to be one of the most persecuted people in the world. The ultranationalist Burmese government has continued to exercise systemic discriminatory and extremely abusive policies and institutionalized persecutions against the Rohingya throughout the past decades. The Rohingya have not been included in the list of valid Myanmar ethnicities, and have faced marginalization and statelessness for several years. I and the international community believe that the humanitarian principles must be applied in this moment to this situation. We, (Rohingya) can’t stand every time these genocidal attacks occur. The Myanmar government attacks the Rohingya again and again. This time we need emergency help and need your action to stop killing them. We need urgent action from humanitarian organizations. We need urgent discussions regarding the genocide of the Rohingya and a UN mandated investigation.
