We Need - More - Books written by refugees!

In the past 27 years, I have lived in 3 different countries as a refugee without knowing what is in store for me. I found myself in a refugee camp along with thousands of other people, living without knowing what the next day held. Not enough people know that we are in the worst refugee crisis. Despite the harsh conditions, my first goal was being safe, but being safe without having rights is not enough. And despite what was going on I was keeping everything saved for my future until I raised all those harmful things that will not happen to others. It was a horrific experience! And the journey never ended where more than 1 million Rohingya were forcibly displaced in the last few years. I felt like that would be the best way to show the real image of the rohingya refugees. Rohingya in Malaysia

Before beginning I would like to thank Malaysia for allowing us to stay in this country! What we have witnessed has deeply traumatized us. From having to flee our country to save our lives from oppression and violence; to living in so many camps in the jungle, with dozens of people from all different countries, our Rohingya kids, men, and women included, living in misery. I expect that these images will stay with me for my entire life. Much thanks to Malaysia for giving us re fuge. But life in Malaysia is also hard! I have seen so many Rohingya refugees arrested from different parts of Malaysia during raids. I have received so many complaints from my people while they stayed in kongsi , or makeshift workers’ dorms. And because of the fear of arrest, others choose to stay in the forest to avoid enforcement raids. *****Further, UNHCR mentioned in a notice from December 2019 that they have not received approval from Immigration authorities to access any immigration de
