A Briefing Session on the International Court of Justice, ICJ in The Gambia vs. Myanmar

What an insightful experience I gained when I attended the talk at a Briefing Session on the International Court of Justice, ICJ in The Gambia vs. Myanmar!
I had the opportunity to meet many wonderful people Including Professor John Packer, Associate Professor of Law and Director of the Human Rights Research and Education Centre (HRREC) at the University of Ottawa and representatives from KL legal Aid Centre including CENTHRA. Thanks everyone from over the world for the advocacy, fight for justice and awareness on our issues. I hope Malaysia will come more with good news for rohingya and refugees soon!
My ex colleague Ayra from UNHCR who helped me edit some of my stuffs. Thanks Ayra for your support and encouragement!
I was a little nervous while asking my question to Professor John Packer regarding the ICJ process and how long it will take. This is because the genocide has been listing 70 years in Myanmar.
Just for calling what’s happening in Myanmar as Genocide, it took 65 years over and it is uncertain how long or how many years for justice to be obtained at this point.
I could see a clear view of ICC and ICJ and it’s a bigger picture now on the Rohingya crises. I believe everything has an end one day. So justice of Rohingya will be prevailed one day! InShaa Allah!
It is a great support from Gambia to bring the case to ICJ and Canada, Bangladesh, Malaysia, USA/House, France, OIC and UN for declaration of Genocide!
